With a long history on King St, Georgian Bakery has seen ownership transfer a few times but some of the recipes and all of the memories stay with the building!
Georgian Bakery has recently seen another change of hands from Geoff and Sarah White to Roberta and Wes Douglas who also own RoyalTea on King across the street and Bell Falls Family Campground! When the ownership shift was announced, based on the community comments everyone was very passionate about the Butter Tarts staying the same; rest assured, the family recipe from about 150 to 200 years ago is going to be staying with the new owners!
Georgian Bakery does a wide range of baked goods from doughnuts to cakes to a variety of flavours of cookies and even sugar free cookies! Since it’s the festive season, their offerings are so much more! Grab your cupcakes, gingerbread cookies, pies and everything in between for all your Christmas get togethers.
Georgian Bakery is located at 253 King St in downtown Midland and is open Tuesday – Saturday 8am to 4pm.
