The Southern Georgian Bay Chamber of Commerce is proud to have received the Experience Simcoe County Marketing Grant to help promote the 48 Hours in Georgian Bay packages — showcasing the incredible experiences, businesses, accommodations, food, shopping, and outdoor adventures our region has to offer. Stay tuned for featured itineraries, local spotlights, and exciting ways to explore South Georgian Bay this summer.

Through the Canada Summer Jobs program, the Chamber was also able to hire Quinn Mackenzie as the full-time Tourism Development Officer for May, June, July, and August. Quinn will be supporting tourism initiatives, partnerships, events, visitor engagement, and Summer Pop Ups throughout the busy summer season while helping showcase everything South Georgian Bay has to offer.

“I’m excited to spend the summer connecting with local businesses and helping promote Chamber members through our Summer Pop Ups,” says Quinn Mackenzie. “Southern Georgian Bay has such an incredible community of entrepreneurs, makers, and local experiences, and I’m looking forward to helping showcase everything our region has to offer to both residents and visitors alike.”

These investments help strengthen local tourism, support small business, and encourage more visitors to discover and experience our region.

Please join us in welcoming Quinn to the team! 👏
