Well, our Summer Pop-Up Series has officially come to a close, and with it, we’ve said goodbye to a very special member of our Chamber team. 💛
After a summer filled with pop-ups, playlists, sunshine, Muskoka-chair office days and plenty of laughs, we’re saying see you later to Quinn, our Tourism Development Officer!
Quinn is heading back to Dalhousie University at the end of the month to start her second year, and while we’re so excited to see what’s next for her, we’re definitely going to miss having her energy around the office.
From working outside and soaking up our Georgian Bay views, to sharing music, brainstorming ideas and, most importantly, connecting our members with the community, Quinn brought so much to the Chamber this summer.
We wanted to give Quinn a send of with notes from our Pop-Up participants:
Thank you to our members for helping us send Quinn off with their kind words:
“Quinn was awesome! Quinn was a pleasure to work with. Very organized, eager and friendly. She is very supportive of her community and small businesses :)” - Marisa, Little Journeys Play Cafe

Quinn was amazing to work with during the SGB Chamber Pop-Up Markets! She was so helpful with getting everything set up and was always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. She went above and beyond to encourage people passing by to stop in and support the shops.
At the end of the market, she gifted us the most beautiful bouquet of flowers from the garden along with the sweetest thank-you card. Such a thoughtful gesture. Thank you, Quinn, for making the experience so special and all the best! - Sabrina, Designs@2am

Through her social media work and the Pop-Ups, she connected so many of our members with the community and helped showcase the people and businesses that make our region so special.
Of course, the Pop-Ups wouldn’t have been the same without our amazing members who participated throughout the summer. Thank you for joining us, sharing your businesses, bringing your energy and spending your time with us. We hope you had as much fun as we did hosting you!
And to our community, thank you for showing up. Thank you for coming out, discovering something new, chatting with local businesses and supporting the people who make our community what it is. Your support is more valuable than you know, and every visit, purchase, conversation and share makes a difference.
As for Quinn, she’ll be heading back to Dalhousie University at the end of the month to start her second year. While we’re so excited to see what’s next for her, we’re definitely going to miss her around here.
Thank you, Quinn, for one very memorable summer. We’ll miss your energy, your creativity, your playlists and, of course, your Pop-Up magic.
