Today, we're spotlighting: Chartwell Tiffin Retirement Residence
Breaking ground in 2o13, this organization started Tiffin House Retirement Residence. It was built as a resort-inspired senior living building that has beautiful views and close proximity to the Tiffin Basin, on the eastern side of Midland.
Completed in 2014, it was recognized and a nominee in the Continuing Care Retirement Community category for Senior Housing News' Architecture & Design Awards.
In 2016, the property was acquired by Chartwell so by the Fall of that year, it transitioned from Tiffin House to Chartwell Tiffin. Though it went under a new name, the commitment to care continued with the building being able to cover different needs like:
- Independent living
- Assisted living
- Memory Living
Some of the features of Chartwell Tiffin? They have a few different spaces to enjoy a meal, a theatre, a library, a salon, chapel, pool and sauna and even more amenities aimed at maintaining psychical and mental health! They also do themed days for residents like Vintage Car Show and BBQ this past Summer.

Located in Midland and constructed in 2014, Chartwell Tiffin Retirement is a 110 Suite retirement living property offering residents three levels of care; Independent Supportive Living, Assisted Living, for those requiring additional assistance with day to day routines, and Memory Living, for those residents with mild to moderate Dementia.
