Notice of Public Meeting for April 14, with the Town of Midland, regarding proposed increases in Development Charges.
It has been brought to the Southern Georgian Bay Chamber of Commerce’s attention that the Town of Midland is proposing to increase the development charges for non-residential by 78% and increase residential development charges by 16%. That represents an increase from $33.37 per square metre to $59.23 per square metre for non-residential and an increase from $16,072 to $18,716 for residential. (page 9 of the Development Charges Background Study)
