The event provides the opportunity to introduce yourself and your business; connect with other businesses; and learn business practices in human resources, marketing, advertising, and other relevant topics.

Fall Colours Photography Workshop at Wye Marsh @ Wye March Wildlife Centre
Oct 30 @ 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm

Join Jason George with camera in hand to learn some tips, tricks, and skills to master nature photography.

Jason George will take you on a trip around North America as he shares some of his best photographs and experiences with many of your favourite animals. He will share some tips and tricks about how he captures Canada’s animals with his camera.

Jason will end his indoor presentation with a Q& A, plus a mini–Safari ‘Hunt’/eye training activity to help you find more animals on your outing. Then you will head out to the Marsh to put these tips and tricks into practice.

When: Saturday, October 30 from 1:00pm – 3:00pm.

Price includes admission to our interpretive centre and trails for the day following the workshop or before the workshop beings to take in and photograph the nature around us!

Art in the Marsh: Introduction to Stone Carving at Wye Marsh @ Wye March Wildlife Centre

Stone Carving

Local Artist and Teacher Lisa Harpell will instruct an intro to stone carving! This is a unique opportunity to try something new.
This is an introductory class for carving alabaster & soapstone. Using carving tools participants will create pendants and small sculptures. They will also learn how to finish and mount their masterpieces.
No experience is necessary. All materials are provided.

When: November 13, 2021 from 1:00pm-3:00pm
How much: $47.00
Price includes admission to our interpretive centre and trails for the day following the workshop.
Who: Artists of any ability, aged 14+.
